Dawn’s Divine Love

Dawn’s Divine Love

dawn's divine love

Dawn’s divine love evokes in me the joy of being with you,
For, each night I die in your arms to awaken to a new dawn,
When each day with you is a new beginning of love divine,
As your gentle touch speaks to my soul’s call for your love.
Like surging waves gently whispering to the sands on shore,
Your tenderness touches the deepest part of my being
Where dwells my soul and deepest love for you.

Fiery passions of nights when we need to quench the thirst,
Of ignited wildfires are sated when we are drenched
And breathless, dying in each others arms like angels
Who have conquered the raging sea when wave after wave,
Hit with powerful force, then left them exhausted on the shore.
Sweet slumber then engulfs me as I fall asleep in your arms,
And we hold on to each other as if we are one, for we are.

Our love gives each other strength, it is boundless as the sea
It is like deep-burning coals forever warming our hearts
And will keep us always together, heart and soul, for eternity.
Our love keeps us ageless, for love is the core of life,
And you are the core of my love, my life is blessed with you.
All that exists is there because I love you with all my being,
Your gentleness has awakened me to dawn’s divine love.

I have always liked to write. It is important to me that writing comes from my heart and soul. When writing poetry, if I do not feel a spiritual connection to what I am writing on, I will discard it and go on to something I can connect with on a spiritual level. I live in the moment, I write from the past or beyond the veil. When writing fiction I go with whatever inspires me at the moment - it could be funny, sorrowful, romantic or sometimes done with the use of colloquial language from mountain folk or other cultural regions.

I began writing content online in 2007, starting with BellaOnline - A Voice For Women, where I was the Native American Editor, Folklore & Mythology Editor, and the Appalachian Editor. I also wrote articles forThe Examiner, Daily Two Cents, and Yahoo. I am a freelance writer for Fiverr. I am currently an author on HubPages, a member/author of the Maven Coalition, and Senior Editor and an author for The Creative Exiles.

Most of what I write takes a lot of research and I love it. Even if it is a fictional story, I will research for accuracy in whatever it takes to make my characters, their era, their location, etc. become realistic to the reader.

I hope you enjoy my works. Thank you for visiting.

Phyllis this is a beautiful rendering of the ability love has to awaken the soul. How each new is touched by its presence, propelling the heart to beat more often . I loved the portrayal of love being that of a deep burning sensation, very elegantly done. I was going to use the imagery of the rocks on the shore in my next piece as well. Nicely penned. ~Paul
