As the moonbeams waver

As the moonbeams waver

As the moonbeams waver

As the moonbeams softly waver

on the tranquil waters of our love’s lake,

illuminating the shiny pebbles at the bottom

we have cast into it in the past,

each ripple they made, a nuance of our love,

which yearns once again to be taken in our cupped hands.

Let me spread before you a tapestry

woven with my unsaid words of admiration,

for you to feel and fathom the length

of  these pure threads of my love and trust,

as we continue to play alternating roles in life’s script

of being the guiding light and faithful shadow.

Why should I fear those threatening dark clouds;

when i have the warmth of your love as a shield

for I know its bright and unwavering flame

will transcend trials by all storms

as we transiently abandon time and reason at bay,

our cares flung to the all receiving breeze.

What are we now, but two mere specks

so hopelessly drifting from solid ground,

seeking to settle down on love’s cozy nest

and glide through the pores of infinity’s sieves,

as we watch our blurry reflections overlap in turquoise waters

when we reach the closest of being hailed as one.

How much beautiful are Your words, how much they touch the in depth emotions of love and caress the core of our yearning being for our loved ones, the gorgeous paint Your draw softly about the merging into one, then this wedded love to bond with the universe, just a proof how true, faithful, spiritual yet real this love is.
I love it, love it dearly like all Your love poems, lovely Anjana*
