Divine Love

A tale of divine love

A tale of divine love

How long will you remain deaf to my pleas

as i stand helpless in this perilous maze of worldly life?

my soul, a desperate tenant , yearning for freedom,

from the confines of this body’s mortal shell,

as moments without you keep withering and falling

all around like the golden autumn leaves,

so mercilessly denied the the bliss of life

and i watch them as nonchalantly as those trees.

Maybe, i am just an impulsive wave,

my obsessed mind fixed on my destination,

of attaining salvation by reaching your shore

while persistently searching for the essence of your love,

before getting dispersed into infinitesimal drops

to find favour before your merciful eyes.

You are the only beacon of hope

that shines through my decaying heart,

the whiff of fragrance that lingers in spite of

this blinding darkness that surrounds,

the only sparkle afforded my weary eyes

and the traces of smile on my lips.

Yes, i keep hearing the notes of your flute

as i follow them with utmost devotion,

and live in hopes of a brighter tomorrow

when our names will be tied in silken threads,

to be remembered and uttered forever as one

as we reign together in a realm of immortality

somewhere in either the heaven or this earth.

I don’t know which one to adore more, this or Your other two ones, maybe this have a different flavor because of Your new style within it, this is far beyond beautiful, far beyond gorgeousness, I’m trying to find words to give its fine divine heavenly essence the justice, just sublime… sublime with it’s deepest emotions, caressing the core of a human’s being, in the most powerful tender profound and emotive way, You can with Your words here, play over the hearts and spirits, yield them into the shape You want to… again I just wish I can gift You all those stars in this sky, my finest loveliest most talented Anjana*

Anjana, this post came up on the news feed and I just had to read it again, it is so lovely, so divine and beautifully penned.

I shortened the large white space below your verse by deleting the extra lines.

I miss you and hope all is well. Take care dear friend.
