What Transforms….accepting the Self
What transforms …

What inspires a thirsty mind
is change, the imbibing of the new,
and knowledge leads us to paths untrodden,
reflections of life that feed our soul
and lead us to who we are, our true Self.
What deters us in life is fear,
fear of unwanted truth,
fear of realities that contradict our delusions
about ourself, our true nature and proclivities,
and in fear we wear masks to project what will be accepted.
What delivers us to truth
is facing the true Self, the lies we tell ourselves,
and being brave enough to remove the mask,
to stand in the light of truth and know
who we are and want to be.
What truth delivers is happiness,
to know our Self, our faults, attributes and potential,
and to forgive our mistakes,
to learn better ways and paths in life, and
to utilise our potential and experience the joy of living.
What struggle is determines all paths,
for struggle opens eyes, and
pain seeds consideration and change,
learning what we fear and want out of life,
and through pain we find joy in truth.

Pain is what we struggle through to find joy where the truth opens our hearts. Beautiful verse, Tony.
Thanks Phyllis, glad you appreciated it. Take care. By the way I received the TCE Gazette, but only the heading, no text?
PS: I just sent out last week’s newsletter and babysat it through to make sure it was sent in its entirety. Hope you enjoy it, Tony. Thanks again. 🙂
All went through, thanks Phyllis
Uh-oh! I was not here when it was sent out, Tony. I will go look into to and see what happened. I received my copy of the newsletter but some parts were missing. I could not get my computer problems fixed till early today. I will see what needs to be done then resend it. Thanks for letting me know.
A pleasure.
