Of Joy

Love’s Rapture

melded joy
Of Joy…a choice without judgement.

Joy has melded with my heart,
love’s rapture in wake of eternal spark,
for a mind can breath when knowing has no end,
no expectation of the definitive
can ever commend, find the truth,
for in love we open doors once closed,
to see beyond the road, the travail
that pierces our wants and needs to acceptance.

A joyful mind is a vigilant mind,
seeing past the superficial chaos
to know the beauty that pervades all life,
and in that, we find love within,
that ecliptic height of realisation
that changes a life, changes perspective
to a quiet consideration of reality’s flow,
and the serene experience of peaceful understanding.

Joy implores my heart to drink of life’s nectar,
to savour each and every experience
without the judgement that can inhibit it,
and to see and feel deeply all pain and joy,
in order that the souls is filled with its own possibilities,
and in quiet consideration know,
that life is being fulfilled with purpose,
with intention.

Oh my gosh! There is no better thing than to fill the heart and soul with joy and love. The whole verse is so beautiful – it is the last stanza that grabs hold my heart. Even the pain is part of knowing there is purpose in life. The beauty and love you can bring out by your mastery of words is so amazing, Tony.

Too kind Phyllis, I’m just doing what I’m meant to be doing, and that is profoundly rare and poignant in life. That’s why the universe supports and anything is possible as a consequence. I love my art and the expression is my true joy. Take care.
