Beyond the Self
Beyond the Self …
Love without humility, is competition,
and no matter the commitment of words,
the vows of love are sacrosanct
and cannot infer the self,
as love is shared in glorious intention,
selflessness the catalyst of foundation.
Enter love with self in mind
and all will cease to be in time,
as love is neither quantitative
nor magnified within itself,
rather accepted completely
in eternal expression.
In love there is equity,
for both parties invest equally in life,
otherwise imbalance will tear it apart,
and when love becomes the precursor to thought,
all actions are blessed by its purity,
all deeds are for the giving.
Love is the foundation of life,
the very intention of creation in expression,
and once understood,
can transform our understanding and purpose in living,
to imbibe life with meaning
and share beyond the limitations of self.
