The Spring…rising life

Rising up to meet the morning spring…

The Spring...rising life
The Spring…rising life

And too must we on fleeted wing,
rise up to meet the morning spring,
from caverns deep and earth arise,
to greet the sun from darkness lies;
to breath with passion life’s embrace,
and for love and beauty wearing grace,
imbue a mind to thirst and sate,
and to know the secrets true.

Each breath a miracle,
every thought an epiphany,
each word a truth,
every sigh willfully taken,
in gratitude.

From far beneath is pristine state,
a crystal flow to appreciate,
and to know of that omniscient hand
that makes a life in strength to stand,
to grasp the pleasures been bestowed
and be thankful for this life giving water.
