Rhythm of Your Strum

Rhythm of Your Strum

rhythm

Tranquility hums

to the rhythm of your strum…

your voice

honey…

healing hearts, young and old.

Won’t you sing to me?

Unbutton the glow

dance your beats upon my soul…

take me gentle

take me slow…

take me on your open road

where stars rain…

Love your way

your tones that play…

pulling me in

to a garden sway.

Won’t you take me there…

just for a moment

for a day?

Tranquility hums

to the flow of your strum…

your voice

honey…

I’ve come undone.

I have always enjoyed writing as a creative and healing outlet. Although I am not a formally trained poet, I have found a natural inclination to explore its remarkable power and beauty. I gravitate towards rhyming verse, free of any constraints, and strive to create an experience through sound, flow, and imagery. I am a writer at Allpoetry.com. and a proud Mother of two beautiful boys. Thank you for visiting.

Tranquility reigns indeed, another exciting rhythm packed poetic verse. I could hear the strum, feel the romance brewing as you pulled me in, your reader to your finely crafted words. It’s wonderful when we become undone, even if for just a little while. Nicely penned Mel.

Most evocative and smooth Mel, the music seeping from every word. A lovely light feeling work with emotive sentiments and afferent phrasing of succumbing to the guile of music and the player. Nice!

Mel, your poetry certainly has an element of a musical beat about it. This was well crafted and catchy. Good work.

Thank you John, too bad I could’nt carry a tune to save my life…still, somehow I feel a natural rhythm with poetry, and I enjoy it. Appreciate your comment. 🙂
