In Pursuit of Beauty

In pursuit of beauty …

pursuit

In pursuit of beauty’s flame, each breath delivers,
and my steps into future’s node,
gives reason for this take, this perception,
this sensory vision and acceptance of love’s attire.

Without it, my world’s countenance a bleak affair,
the rancid loss and pained refrain of consequences,
far from beguiling, far from nature’s art,
the deeds of minds lost to their own skin.

Tis how one chooses life,
to see the artistry, the unique and microcosmic integrity
of a world like a play of choices,
and in seeing beauty, we join our mother’s art in acceptance.

Even the failures become an art in process,
the recompense and learning lines of fate,
and in our blame and anger prone renditions,
the beauty of realization is always held to heart.

Life’s undulating fortunes
must be viewed in perspective, as part of aspiration’s path,
and when beauty holds in thought and deed,
life transforms and love transcends all else.

Beauty as they say is in the eye of the beholder, it’s all around us, yet so many of us don’t see the beauty of life and what it presents before us. Why does it take a blind man to gain all his senses and see what so many of us can, but don’t, yet he feels everything under the guise of blindness. We live in an amazing world of color, let’s not see it all as black and gray’s. Yet for us poets we see beauty all around us, no matter the color. This is a beautiful poem Tony, celestial in it’s very nature.

Much appreciated Vincent, being a poet, I see as you do the endless beauty in life, regardless of all the hardship. Its a perspective we as writers must have. Cheers!
